MEMBERSHIP MEETING:
The meeting was called to order at 7:35pm by President Jim Curry.
In attendance were 13 members: President Paul Curry, Secretary Julie Miller, Treasurer Jim Coe, Historian Inez Brunson, Webmaster Gary Walters, Sunshine Lady Mary Hogan, Ways & Means Toni Groom, Bill Hogan, Don Peck, Terri Prater, Bart diBartolo, Paul & Mary Harvey.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
TREASURERS REPORT: There was income of $17.50 from the 50/50, income from dues was $200.00 for a total of $5,169.99.
ACTIVITIES: The next activity will be March 8 at 9AM. Breakfast at the Omelet House, 316 N. Boulder Highway in Henderson.
ACTIVITY FOR APRIL: April 5 we will meet at Railroad Pass for breakfast at 9 AM and then go on to Nelson for a tour of the Techaticup Mine.
ACTIVITY FOR MAY:Studebaker to participation in the Pan Draggers Car Show in Boulder City on May 2-4.
MEMBERSHIP: There are currently 25 paid members.
HISTORIAN: Inez had gone through and found old newsletters from the ‘80’s. She also found minutes of meetings when the International Meet was being planned.
MECHANICAL ADVISOR: Jim Coe brought articles on Oil. Paul Curry has purchased an industrial sewing machine and is planning to do his own upholstering.
WEB MASTER: Gary Walters has received a letter requesting information about an old Studebaker from Argentina.
PAST PRESIDENT: Terry and Jan Prater were in Puerto Rico and went to a car show.
NEW BUSINESS: Gary Walters brought flyers for the FALL FUN FEST to be held in Mesquite from September 25 thru 27 at the Virgin River Casino.
The 50/50 was held. Jim Coe was the winner of $22.50. $22.50 went to the club.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:40.

Update 1-17-08 *
MEMBERSHIP MEETING:
The meeting was called to order by outgoing president Toni Groom at 7:45.
Members present were Paul Curry, Rich Ritzo, Curtis Clark and Julie Miller, Jim Coe and Toni Groom, Inez Brunson and Lorraine Hall. We welcomed new member George Wright.
There were no minutes from the previous meeting as minutes were posted on the Tumbleweeds Web Page at "www.studebakerclub.org".
Treasurer Jim Coe reported a balance of $4,752.49. There are renewals that have not been deposited yet.
The last activity was the Christmas Party held and Jim and Toni’s house. Only 10 people were present.
== OLD BUSINESS ==
Paul Curry offered to be president for the year. Jim Coe said he would continue as Treasurer and Membership Chair. Gary Walters will continue as WebMaster and Toni Groom will be Ways and Means Chair and Photographer. She will also do the Membership Roster. Mary Hogan will be Sunshine Lady. Rich Ritzo will continue as Newsletter Editor and Lorraine and Inez will continue as Club Historians. All members will contribute as Mechanical Advisors. Questions and comments can be sent to Rich Ritzo to be posted in the Newsletter. Lorraine will do Public Relations and Inez and Julie will continue as the Phone Committee. Julie will also continue as Secretary. The office of Vice President and ACTIVITY CHAIR IS STILL OPEN. Julie Miller made a motion to accept the slate of officers. Inez Brunson seconded the motion and the motion carried.
== NEW BUSINESS ==
Dust Off Breakfast will be the Activity for January. We will meet at the Skyline Casino on Sunday, January 27 at 9AM.
Our Next Meeting will be Wednesday, February 20, at 7:30 at Marie Callender’s.
The 50/50 Raffle was held and Jim Coe was the winner of $17.50. $17.50 went to the Club Treasury. A second drawing was held for a hand held crank flashlight. Julie Miller had the winning ticket.
The meeting adjourned at 8:20.
