• Hurricane Weather - I have a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station mounted on the roof of the house. A very fine station. I'm running Weatherkink 5.7 software to collect data and generate reports that are posted to this web site.

  The weather station uploads data to the Citizen Weather Observer Program (CWOP). You can see this station's data by clicking this link to the station's CWOP ID: CW6044. Data is collected from weather stations all over the world. This data is eventually uploaded to the National Weather Service (NWS) where they use it in their weather and climate modeling.

  Data is also uploaded to the Weatherunderground Web Site. You can view the data by clicking this link to the station's Weatherunderground ID: KUTHURRI2.

  The Hurricane weather page also includes a link to a Google Map of other personal weather stations in the area.

• ST. George, UT Area Golf Information - One of my hobbies is learning to program Google Maps. Google recently released the Application Programming Interface (API) for this product to the public. This is one of my experiments showing golf course locations and information in the St. George area. It features full navigation, custom map markers, custom info windows, a polyline, and a side-bar menu. All data displayed on the map, including the ployline data, is housed in an external XML file. You can also download a Google Earth KMZ file of this map. If you don't have Google Earth get the installation file by clicking the link on the right - IT'S FREE.

• Hurricane City Planning Commission Map - This is an example of a custom Google Map showing locations and information about projects on the Planning Board's Agenda. It features full navigation, custom map markers, custom info windows, and a side-bar menu. All data displayed on the map is housed in an external XML file. This simplifies updating the data for the next meeting.

• Washington County, UT Transportation Projects - Google Map illustrating some of the major planned transportation projects in Washington County. You can also download a Googe Earth version of the map from this page.

• Washington County Hiking Trails - Not yet implemented. Planned Google Map and Googe Earth KML file showing the major trails in the area.
