Learn the skills necessary to survive in the wilderness
during this single or multi-day course. During the one-day course you
will learn to identify the basic needs of a survivor as well as how to
prioritize and satisfy these needs. You will learn how to: construct a
shelter using man made and natural materials, build a fire using a variety
of tinders and fire starting devises, use various signaling devices to
alert rescue, purify water and procure plant and insects for food. You
will also learn how to select the right gear for survival and how to put
together survival kits to aid you in your survival experience. On the
multi day courses you’ll have more time for additional hands on
training in these techniques, as well as incorporate primitive survival
skills such as using a bow and drill and flint and steel to make fire,
and using plants for food, medicine, and cordage. You’ll also learn
how to make snares and traps for procuring animals, build ground to air
and smoke signals and build several types of survival shelters. You’ll
also learn how to plan for emergencies, survival psychology and improvise
using man-made and natural materials to satisfy your survival needs.
